It may not be Autumn yet; but I'm still thinking about colored leaves and Halloween. Many artists find it easier to draw faces looking in one direction. For me, it has always felt more comfortable to draw faces looking left. Making a sketch with Ichabod looking to the right was a very conscious decision.
