Spooky

I must admit to a lifelong liking of Harvey Comic's Spooky and Hot Stuff. The comic publisher's other characters like Casper the Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich or Little Dot were never of any interest to me. It is the fantasy element in many of the stories and the artwork of Warren Kramer and Howie Post that has attracted me to those two characters since I was young.

The cover to Spooky # 99 is another take on the Frankenstein Monster. The tuff little Brooklyn ghost is usually the one doing the scaring; but it looks like , perhaps, a past victim is turning the tables on him. Here is a mad scientist from Tuff Ghosts # 30 just to compliment the Frankenstein sub-theme
I have going this month.
