Bullwinkle; Magnetic Moose

These scans are from Golden Key's 1972 issue # 3 of Bullwinkle and Rocky. The Grand Comics Book Database states that this issue was a reprint from Dell's 1960, Four color #1128. I wanted to find out the dates on this story for two reasons. The first is that the moonmen, Cloyd and Gidney, resemble the Ouaker Oats Company's character Quisp from 1965. It makes since because Jay Ward Productions created the moonmen characters and the successful TV ads for Quisp.

The second reason I was interested in when this Bullwinkle story was written is, it shares a story element with a movie from 1964, Santa Clause Conquers the Martians. Both begin with the children on their worlds watching Earth television programs and pining for Santa or Bullwinkle. The parents then set off for Earth to bring back the children's TV heroes.
