Frank Frazetta: R.I.P.

Any fan of popular culture and especially fantasy-adventure knows who Frank Frazetta was. News is traveling around the Internet today that he has passed away. He was not only legendary for his skill as an artist, but for his athletic and general physical prowess. Even though his failing health has been known for some time, his passing still seems like a surprise.

My best to the family, and I hope their squabbles over the ownership of the artist's original works will be settled with more of an eye to Frank Frazetta's legacy than to short term financial gain.
