• Of all the classic Universal movie monsters , Dracula is the only one I still find unnerving. There is something frightening about a creature that lives in the dark and devours you as you sleep. I can’t recall having a nightmare about any other monster than a vampire.

It has been a slow freelance week; and Monday, I will begin several weeks of finishing up the illustrations on a new Sesame Street book. I sketched and inked this generic, classic vampire caricature to get a little practice coloring in Photoshop CS2. Enjoy!
