One of my favorite bits of art news this year was the discovery of the original Norman Rockwell painting "Breaking Home Ties." Which is which?The Painting was discovered by the son's of the owner of the original, the man who also painted the forgery, Don Trachte.
When seen side by side, the original Rockwell has more sparkle and life to it than Trachte's copy; but the copy was exibited and accepted as the original for years.
