Cute monsters abound! This book should be available now. The publish date was to be January 9th. I, actually, finished the illustrations for it, perhaps, six or seven months ago. In the time since then, I have completed the illustrations an additional book and next week I'll be sending off the art for yet another Sesame Street peek-a-boo style book.
They are all just work-for-hire jobs; so, no royalties or a bonus on sales. That is the state of illustration these days in general, and especially with licensed character work. The rewards come from the satisfaction of doing something children will enjoy.
