Gojira / Godzilla

I have wondered what the original Japanese version of Godzilla was like. Well, last year a two DVD edition of the classic giant monster film was released. I don't recall any big promotion for this and when I saw the DVD the other day at Target, I was surprised.

There is the original Japanese version, with English subtitles, and the American, with Raymond Burr, version on the second disk. When I would watch the American release of Godzilla, there always was a hint that some other story line was in play. With the Japanese, Gojira, I get to see what the story really was.
