One of the most respected and versatile artists at DC comics was Nick Cardy. He had been doing the lions share of covers for their mystery books in the early to mid 1970s. I have a feeling that one of the main reasons Luis Dominguez was chosen to do the cover art for the books Cardy had been illustrating was because the two had similar styles. The Nick Cardy artwork, skeleton in the window, is on the right.
