Rue Morgue and the Ben Chapman web site reports that Ben Chapman, the original land creature from Universal's "Creature From The Black Lagoon" has died. Life support was terminated this morning, in accordance with a living will. A Catholic memorial service is planned. Ben was 79 years old.Farewell to another iconic creature.
