Will Elder passed away last week. He was an influence on many young artists with his chicken fat, a reference to Jewish cooking where chicken fat, schmaltz, is added for a little extra richness and flavor, style of cartooning that he introduce in the early issues of Mad Magazine.There is a nice 20 minute video post at Mark Evanier's-News from Me blog.
