Monsterverse

It has been awhile since I stopped by the Monster Kid site. I was surprised to ran into this news about new horror comics, which seem to be scheduled for release in early 2010 (are they in stores already?). It is always nice to hear about something with a smell of the old style of horror comics. I'm not sure exactly what these books may look like; but I'll keep my eyes open for them. The website for Monsterverse may have updates as the year progresses.

I found that the publisher intends to begin a quarterly publication schedule in September of 2010. I get a little apprehensive when I hear the words "fresh…contemporary edge" when something is touted as "close to classic horror comics."
