I had completely forgotten that one of the Sesame Street books I illustrated last year was due to be published this month. A publisher will usually send the illustrator a few copies of the books their work is in.
It may seem an odd thing to say but …I really think that blue blanket came out well! Sometimes it is a small, almost insignificant, piece of an illustration assignment that makes me happy.
