Nick Cardy R.I.P.

I just opened up the computer, I was working in the garden today, to discover that Nick Cardy has passed away. He was alway such a solid artist on the books I remember him from, like Aquaman, Teen Titans, Bat Lash and many of D.C.'s mystery books.

I am beginning to understand how my parents felt when their favorites from popular culture began passing away. Many of the artists I admired and looked forward to seeing their art have not been active for a long while but knowing that there isn't any chance of seeing new work from them is sad.

Thankfully, we can see a lot of what they produced and keep the good memories from the enjoyment they were responsible for bring us.
