It has always been assumed that Bigfoot got its name from the large tracks it has left; but this creature's remains were, allegedly, discovered in the northern Georgia woods --a long way from the enigmatic hominid's famous California stomping grounds. The name Bigfoot may say more about the cryptid's travel range than it's shoe size. I may sound a bit skeptical; but it would be pretty cool if it is true.
The Georgia hunters are reported to be holding a news conference in Palo Alto, California on August 15th - to present their evidence.

So, Uncle Ernie called it yesterday. At the Bigfoot conference it was announced that the DNA matched that of an OPOSSUM.
I have not found anything about what happened at the noon, Pacific time, news conference.
